What’s new
Here at Just For Kicks Sports Development, we’ve had an exciting few months, starting with the move of our regular goalkeeper training sessions to the Alsager Hub. Our goalkeepers have been really enjoying the new location and the fantastic facilities we now have available to us.
The launch of our new goalkeeping session at Sandbach United quickly became so popular that it turned into two sessions. So, if you’re in the area and know a future goalkeeper that wants to have fun and learn some new skills, sessions now run from 6pm to 7pm for 7 to 11 year olds, and 7pm to 8pm on Wednesdays for 12 - 16 year olds.
Our goalkeeping sessions have been creating such a buzz that a number of different scouts have been getting in touch with us, including one from Stoke City.
We’re proud to announce that we are now able to offer our young goalkeepers our recommendation, as well as regular scouting opportunities and a potential pathway into the Stoke City Academy.
We’ve also been having some fun for the European Championships. Now that we’re coming to the end of the competition and it’s been a brilliant performance by Jordan Pickford and England we’re keeping up our competitive spirit with exciting activities, including goalie wars tournaments and fun activity packs.
It’s also worth keeping an eye on our shop for the launch of our Just For Kicks Sports Development sportswear. And while you’re waiting, you can pick up one of our brand-
new water bottles - just in time to keep goalkeepers hydrated during the blistering heat of the UK’s one week of summer.
